Looking to manage a skilled group of tradesmen and support a variety of industrial projects? We're searching for a Welding Foreman to support our Specialty Construction division, an integral part of what makes us one of the fastest growing companies!

Welding carbon steel for an international ice cream manufacturer.
Support the welding of stainless steel piping for the largest manufacturer of home improvement projects.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing :
Install, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems including installing piping, material handling equipment (belt & pneumatic conveyors), packaging and process equipment.
Manage Mechanical projects; tracking time, materials, expenses, job safety, etc.
Ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
Oversee a staff of 3-4 mechanics, pipefitters, and welders.
Perform cost estimates, write proposals, and respond to client inquiries.
Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions to maintain equipment in a state of operating effectiveness.
Maintain and repair plant instrumentation.
Develop wiring diagrams as necessary.
Complete records and inventory of supplies necessary for performance of jobs.
Perform preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on mechanical devices and other equipment.
Maintain personal work tools.
Conduct daily safety risk assessments on routine and non-routine job tasks.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have :
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of eight years industrial mechanical experience.
Current or ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
Demonstrated proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, human relations and organization.
Familiarity with large horsepower equipment / motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, mobile equipment, and rigging equipment.
Knowledge of powder handling equipment is a decided plus (belt & pneumatic conveyors, screws, hoppers, dust collectors, storage silos & feeders).
Knowledge of powder packaging equipment a decided plus.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends at Company's discretion.
Industrial electrical experience preferred. High-Voltage and / or PLC knowledge a plus.
Work with limited supervision.
Proven ability to work in a safe manner, adhere to safe practices.
Compensation and benefits offering :
Pay : $35 - $45 an hour (based on experience)
Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
