Human Resources Operations Internship
Location: Columbus, OH
Part Time: 15-20 hours a week required
Pay: $17.00/hour

About the Role:
As the HR Operations Intern, you'll be at the heart of our employee support process, helping to manage and resolve various employee and client requests. Reporting to the External HR Manager, Employee Relations and Service, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service and ensuring process alignment with Tailored Management’s mission, vision, values, and principles.
What You’ll Do:
- Responds to and resolves employee inquiries from the HR service inbox in alignment with HR SLAs and standard operating procedures, while ensuring a high standard of service delivery, including:
- Assignment extension requests
- Bonus notifications
- Positive feedback notifications
- Assignment completion requests
- Low complexity coaching
- General employee assignment questions
- Recruiter re-assignment notifications
- Maintains employee records and notes within the Human Resources Information System.
- Supports contingent employee new hire orientation sessions.
- Partners with HR and the client services team to manage equipment return requests.
- Other HR administrative and project duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Previous internship experience in a professional setting preferred
- Strong emotional intelligence, active listening, and critical thinking skills
- High level of professionalism, personal accountability, and adaptability
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities with patience and agility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn HRIS and other HR tech tools
