Job Summary : The successful candidate will have strong writing experience with the proven ability to write and maintain a wide range of marketing campaigns and initiatives to grow our business and support our clients and customers. This individual will work closely with marketing partners to collaborate with Client Management and Sales, as well as internal subject matter experts to understand and articulate the value of the products and services we deliver to drive growth. They will contribute to the creation of Global Health Benefits (GHB) marketing media that sell, educate, service and support our multi-national employer clients, the brokers who partner with them, and the employees and dependents of those clients.
This position is a good match for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced energetic team environment, who is also a self-starter and has the confidence to work independently to drive progress and results. The role will provide exposure and experience across the breadth of the business, and opportunity to partner with peers and business leaders across many functional areas.
Responsibilities :
Writer by trade - ability to create original, clear and compelling content for a variety of mediums, including social media (specifically LinkedIn posts and articles), email, print, and websites.Learn and apply the GHB voice / brand, our offerings and markets for use in copyAbility to regularly ghostwrite multiple personalized social media posts for a group of our business's thought leaders on the same topicFormulate (research and gather information for) long-form thought leadership content to be used within articles, whitepapers and webpages with valid sourcing compliant with legal requirementsDevelop custom communications for brokers, clients, their employees and dependents to educate, inform, drive engagement and help them understand and utilize their benefitsUtilize knowledge of our brand and products to create marketing collateral content as requested (i.e. flyers, brochures, PowerPoint, etc.)Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
Skills :
3 years in marketing, marketing communications, or comparable rolesinsurance or financial services experience a plusSelf-starter that can work independently; resourceful and self-directedAbility to juggle / manage multiple priorities concurrently is a mustAttention to detail; ability to multi-task; deadline drivenAbility to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with changing priorities and requirementsStrong relationship management skills and team player who can collaborate with internal and external partnersAbility to proofread and catch spelling, grammar and punctuation errorsExcellent written communication skills, research and information gathering skills, with the ability to write for multiple channels, including brochures, email, websites and social media
Non-negotiable skills :
Experience with execution of online campaigns and activities (social media, ads, web content, etc.)Creativity and focus - must be able to execute on ideas quickly with a variety of teams and resources within and outside of the organizationAbility to use short form for specific campaigns, social posts and presentations
Education :
Bachelor's Degree required in marketing, communication or equivalent work experience
Upon acceptance of the offer, candidates will be required to submit to a background check including employment and education verifications and a urinalysis drug screening. Salary : $40 - $54
