Location: Onsite – Atlanta, GA

Duration: 5 Months (Contract)

Start Date: June 2, 2025

Pay Rate: $75-80/hr on W2

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting data center deployments and network infrastructure operations. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless execution of network retrofit and new-build activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale network deployments, fiber-optic cabling, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute datacenter network retrofit and new-build tasks using internal workflows and tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in logical tooling throughout the deployment process.
• Support on-site network activations during rack/suite power-ups and provisioning.
• Partner with local vendors and installation teams to coordinate project milestones.
• Escalate issues and blockers with internal and external stakeholders.
• Walk the data center floor to manage cabling and network activation directly.
• Provide minor project coordination support to full-time engineering teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Network Infrastructure Expertise: 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing/switching protocols and physical infrastructure (fiber-optics, cabling).
• Project Support & Communication: Experience supporting or leading infrastructure projects.
• Able to communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Process-Oriented Mindset: Detail-driven with a focus on documentation, process standardization, and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Optical Transport Networks (DWDM or CWDM).
• Coding skills in Python, Java, or C .
• Familiarity with automation tools or scripting frameworks.
• Experience in workflow/process optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
