Job Summary: The Master Data Administrator will be responsible for managing master data and related activities within
the Business Divisions and Manufacturing Facilities. The person will liaise with all appropriate internal departments,
external customers, global team members as well as appropriate consultants.
Essential Duties
- Develop and create records within GSAP for Master Data Requirements.
- Develop business rules and perform data maintenance tasks.
- Identify master data and its relationship to business processes.
- Interact regularly with all departments to help facilitate the quick and accurate entry of data into GSAP leading to adoption of new master entities.
- Leverage SAP S4 knowledge and experience to support MDM’s goal of improving the GSAP process and procedure consolidation.
- Collaborate the MDM team to design and implement improvements and share best practices.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders of various affiliates, divisions, and departments.
- Whenever possible create templates, procedures, documentation, and enhancements for day-to-day Master Data Management transactions.
- Works with key departments to initiate and support workflows Bulk Materials, Suffixes, contact persons, sold-to and ship to and others master data entities as needed.
- Designs and conducts training for key personnel and departments. Shares key definition and process flows withthe assigned teams.
- Help to extract and or upload important data into GSAP.
- Ensure and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the master data and verify data is following all relevant regulations.
- Test the system and process flow while recording results and creating options for additional enhancements.
- Record a full audit history and data trail of any changes.
- Performs other Master Data Management Activities assigned by the Manager.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, IT Marketing, or related field, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years related business experience.
- Focus within the Flavor and Fragrance industry and significant knowledge in various facets of SAP.
- At least one year experience as part of the S/4 Hana GASP implementation is preferred. Additional experience in Supply Chain, Accounting or related Management position would be desirable.
- Possess strong knowledge of general business, and a thorough understanding of best practices in business and financial reporting.
