Takco, Inc. is currently seeking a Highly Motivated Professional to Join our Team as a Project Manager. The primary role of the Project Manager will be to lead and manage all field operations on their assigned projects, including but not limited to owner/client interaction, communication and administration, supervising project engineers, superintendents, foremen, managing subcontractors/vendors, quality control, pay applications, safety management, and equipment utilization/coordination.
Qualifications
- Project management: 3 years (Required)
- Knowledgeable of Municipal, City, and DOT construction including underground utilities, grading, earthwork, roadwork, engineering plans, project planning, subcontractors, and procurement.
- Knowledge of construction methods, inspections, and tests
- Ensures that projects are completed on time, in compliance, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Scheduling for profitable project completion includes preparing project schedules, weekly look-ahead schedules, and tracking progress for appropriate completion of projects.
- Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction is preferred but not required.
- 30-hour OSHA-certification a plus

Responsibilities
- Strong Communication Skills and the ability to work with Clients.
- Ensures that projects are completed on time, in compliance, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Scheduling coordination for profitable project completion including preparing global project schedules, weekly look-ahead schedules, and tracking progress for appropriate completion of projects.
- Communicates with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
- Collaborates and attends meetings with management, engineering personnel, inspectors, clients, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
- Following QA/QC protocol by inspecting work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
- Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated.
- Manage compliance with contract specifications and federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations.

Pay
- $120,000 - $140,000 a year
- Bonus Opportunities based on safety & performance.
