- Attend to the specific needs of each senior in a thoughtful and individual manner.
- Following nutritional requirements, make and serve healthy meals and snacks.
- Promptly administer any drugs that have been prescribed.
- Provide support when needed for transfers and mobility.
- Keep a close eye on the old person's health and notify the right people if anything changes.
- Improve the health of the elderly by getting them involved in community events.
- Keep the living quarters of the old person neat, tidy, and free of hazards.
- It is preferred if you have prior experience working with patients or in a comparable role.
- Willingness to help anyone in need accompanied by a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding verbal and written communication ability.
- Maintain composure and deliver care even when faced with difficult situations.
- Being an expert in the field of recognized care standards and protocols.
- First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is a plus.
- Completion of high school or its equivalent.
