Job Location: On-site (not remote) in our Pendergrass, GA location. We do not provide relocation or sponsorship. You must be able to work in the United States legally.
Job Summary: The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining the organization's desktop environment. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide front line support via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware / software issues on PC, Apple and Android devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues at desktop level.
- Assist with configuring, installing, and maintaining new and relocated devices.
- Document support requests and resolutions in ServiceDesk Plus ticketing system.
System Maintenance:
- Perform system maintenance tasks on PC, Mac OS, Android and IOS systems.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop systems and software.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory in Manage Engine.
Customer Service:
- Provide customer service while prioritizing and managing support requests.
- Train end user on hardware and software as needed.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Other Duties:
- Assist with IT projects as required.
- Adhere to local IT security policies and aid in updating policies as needed.
- All other duties as needed.
- Proven experience in desktop support or similar roles for 2 plus years.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Android, and IOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting to include DHCP, DNS, SSH, FTP, UDP, and TCP/IP
- Two years experience using Manage Engine, Team Viewer, or Ninja RMM ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Two years experience creating user accounts in Active Directory, Exchange, and Entra.

- Knowledge of common software applications.
- Must be proficient in Active Directory and Exchange Server.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- Associate Degree in Information Technology or Networking
- Certification in MS Modern Desktop Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, Net , A or equivalent experience.
