As part of this commitment, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key player in our warehouse operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for picking parts to support the Assembly and Productionoperations, receiving and organizing goods, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Supply & Order Fulfillment:
- Supply parts to Assembly/Production by picking materials based on work order specifications.
- Pick orders accurately according to picklist instructions to ensure parts are delivered to the correct location.
Receiving & Storing Goods:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Put away received goods in their correct storage locations, ensuring proper organization for easy retrieval.
- Perform inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
Compliance & Safety:
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and cleanliness.
- Work safely and adhere to all Takeuchi Safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by ensuring that all materials and tools are properly stored.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Cross-Training & Flexibility:
- Be willing to cross-train in other warehouse areas as needed to ensure flexibility in task assignments.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing operational needs.
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a team member in a warehouse or distribution center setting, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and following picklists, as well as maintaining quality/accuracy when picking and delivering parts.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- At least six months of experience in a distribution center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Physical Demands:
- Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching both forward and above head level.
- Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, as warehouse conditions may fluctuate.
