PRODUCTION CONTROL SUPERVISOR
The Production Control Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and supervising the Production Control Department with emphasis on efficiency and process improvement. Will oversee the day-to-day workflow of the production team and production departments. This role will also co-lead the ERP Implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Production Schedules:
Develop production schedules according to customer due date, work order requirements, availability of workers, and materials.
Adjust daily production schedules to minimize delays, and emergency rerun requirements.
Maximize production capacity by establishing, adjusting, and monitoring production schedules consistency with master schedules.
Supervise production control coordinator to develop short and long-range production schedules and forecast.
Coordinate the activities of several departments.
Maintain consistent 96% or better supplier on-time delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote continuous improvement through employee development and streamlining production processes.
Participate in a teamwork atmosphere and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Maintain and support continuous improvement and overall business strategies.
Observe production activities and monitor production lines to improve production efficiency and create cost effective methods.
Inventory / Material Control:
Coordinate with material handlers responsible for staging raw materials and components in support of manufacturing operations based on FIFO.
Coordinate with procurement for inventory control such as minimum/maximum inventory level and daily picks.
Implement cycle counting procedures to ensure accurate inventory by coordinating with Production, Logistics and Accounting.
Control WIP.
Adaptability
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems.

MRP System (UPONE)
Supervise the UPONE process continuing through Work Order release and WIP control.

Requirements:
