Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Provide toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured activities.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress and address any concerns.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that encourages exploration.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress in line with developmental milestones.
- Provide first aid as needed and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in early childhood education or related fields such as daycare, babysitting, or nannying. Familiarity with childhood development principles is essential, along with skills in behavior management. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. A background in toddler care is preferred, along with certifications in first aid or CPR being a plus.
