General Duties
1. Cleaning and organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, putting away tools, and disposing of waste. 2. Tool maintenance: Assist in maintaining and organizing tools, equipment, and supplies. 3. Material handling: Move materials, equipment, and supplies around the shop as needed. 4. Janitorial tasks: Perform janitorial tasks, such as cleaning Shop space, break rooms, and other areas.
Mechanical-Related Duties
1. Assisting technicians: Assist skilled technicians with tasks, such as cleaning components, and providing general support. 2. Basic repairs: Perform basic repairs, such as replacing O-rings, seals, or other simple components. 3. Parts preparation: Prepare parts for assembly or repair, such as cleaning, deburring, or applying lubricants. 4. Machine operation: Operate basic machinery, such as drill presses, sanders, or grinders, under supervision.
Safety and Administrative Duties
1. Safety protocols: Follow safety protocols, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), reporting hazards, and participating in safety training. 2. Inventory management: Assist with inventory management, such as counting stock, reporting discrepancies, and receiving shipments. 3. Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records, such as work orders, inventory logs, and safety reports. 4. Compliance: Comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Physical Demands
1. Lifting and carrying: Lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds (23 kg). 2. Standing and walking: Stand and walk for extended periods. 3.
