Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity in Highland Heights, Ohio.
Summary :
The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power HVAC system and controls and mechanical systems. Maintain general amp preventative maintenance carpentry plumbing systems and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture machinery equipment and other materials as requested. REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or GED. 2-4 years of related experience is required. Forklift experience. Interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
