Talascend is currently seeking a Logistics Technician for a contract opportunity in Phoenix, AZ.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, tools, and equipment.
- Responsibilities include tracking and handling high volume and high-cost material and equipment, and complying with asset management policies and procedures.
- Duties include handling receipts, issues, transfers, physical inventory, records, and closeout for assets.
- Compiles records related to the quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
- Prepares inventory records and reports, and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
- Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, tracking and reporting any discrepancies.
- Experience in conducting government property inventory is required. Knowledge and understanding of FAR 52.245-1 is essential.
