Talascend is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our global manufacturing client. This is a direct, salaried position; fully remote.
Based on the business needs, this person will be based on the East Coast, Ohio, or Pennsylvania areas preferably.
Overview
This role is focused on driving sales growth within North America for industrial furnaces and thermal processing equipment used in downstream processing of sheet metal (rolled steel products). The position requires an experienced sales professional with a strong commercial background, the ability to manage long sales cycles, and expertise in contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve order intake and profitability targets.
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new clients, market segments, and strategic partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality sales proposals, negotiate contract terms and pricing, and close deals.
- Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and present solutions in mechanical, thermal, and chemical processing.
- Collaborate with proposal engineers and internal teams to develop competitive bids and quotes.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and product teams to align on project requirements and support client needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to adjust sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and pipeline forecasts to senior management.
