This is an exciting opportunity to join Talbot County Public Schools as a Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing programmatic interventions and enrichments that support the holistic development of students and community families.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage programmatic interventions and enrichments to support student and community development.
- Conduct needs assessments, facilitate stakeholder advisory groups, and develop a data-driven annual community school plan.
- Lead the development and adoption of out-of-school programming and other specialty services and projects.
- Manage program staff, oversee family involvement, adult education, and professional development opportunities.
- Analyze data to determine the impact of the community school plan and create tracking systems.
- Create promotional materials and outreach strategies to promote community school programming.
- Provide leadership for all aspects related to community school programming.
