Overview:
The Senior Treasury Analyst will report to Talcott’s Assistant Treasurer and will work within the Treasury team to accurately manage the financial assets and risks specific to Talcott Resolution’s domestic and global legal entities. The selected candidate shall
Responsibilities:
Oversee corporate cash management and forecasting
Support the core liquidity strategy to maximize investment opportunity and portfolio management
Provide project management support related to treasury operations, system upgrades, or process improvements.
Proactively support the ongoing development of the treasury staff
Communicate complex financial concepts and strategies to senior management
Support bank relationship management for both operating and investment bank accounts/portfolios
Access bank portals for cash monitoring and cash transfer initiations.
Support treasury systems compliance for security entitlements and maintenance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, insurance and/or banking
Insurance industry and investment management knowledge
Expertise in financial software, spreadsheets (like Excel), and specialized treasury management systems.
Ethical standards and behavior
Stress management - ability to perform well under pressure
Prior experience with automation of treasury processes
Solid proficiency with MS Office and other financial analysis tools
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to convey complex financial information to leadership
Readily able to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Flexible, positive mindset with a strong attention to detail
Ability to make informed decisions based on financial data
Compensation
The annualized base pay range is mainly based on an evaluation of comparable positions in the external market. The actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range. The base pay is based on factors including but not limited to experience, competence and demonstration of proficiencies essential for the role. The base pay is just one component of Talcott’s total annual compensation for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition.
