Taldeco is searching for Repair Technicians to join our Tool and Die team in Springfield, OH!
2nd and 3rd shift available.
2nd shift: 2PM-10:30PM. 3rd shift: 10PM-6:30AM.
Pay depending on experience. Training available!
Key Responsibilities:
- Tool and Die Repairs: Perform repairs and modifications on tooling and dies to ensure they meet production requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
- Machinery Operation: Operate various machinery and equipment required for tool and die repairs, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Punch Stamping: Work with punch stamping tools and dies, ensuring they are set up, maintained, and repaired to produce accurate and high-quality stamped parts.
- Inspection: Inspect repaired and modified tools and dies for precision and functionality using appropriate measuring instruments and techniques.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on tools, dies, and machinery to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities, including detailed reports and logs.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tool and Die Technician, with a strong background in tool and die repairs and punch stamping.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating machinery used in tool and die work, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Punch Stamping: Experience working with punch stamping operations, including setup, maintenance, and repair of related tools and dies.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and high-quality tooling and die work.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and die repairs.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
