What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator position at Taldeco?
We are looking for an experienced Metal Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting steel and other materials according to specifications from blueprints to support our production process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cutting machinery and equipment according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and diagrams for accurate cutting.
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols/guidelines.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cutter or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using various cutting tools and equipment.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documents and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with a tape measure is a must.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Experience in a machine shop is a plus.
- Consistency and a strong work ethic are highly valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
