The Role
TALEA is looking for eager, hard workers to join our food team. The kitchen role is an integral part of our taproom experiences. Our food program is designed to be executed with one or two people in the kitchen, and is routinely being revamped to best pair with our variety of beers. This role requires ingredient prep, cooking, and plating with attention to detail, organization and consistency.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Head Chef to familiarize yourself with all menu items and required prep
- Responsible for all food prep, cooking, and plating
- Punctual, responsible and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Handles, stores, and rotates all ingredients properly
- Communicate thoughtfully, respectfully, and efficiently with coworkers and customers
- Maintain a positive outlook and professional behavior under pressure
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
- Excited to work in food and hospitality, particularly in a kitchen.
- Available to work 8-10 hour shifts during days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Food Handlers license
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- This role is $22/hr with potential for overtime
