Our client is a legal technology and professional services organization that provides information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers globally. Due to company growth, they are seeking a fulltime Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This individual will be shaping the future of legal technology and will work at the forefront of machine learning, modeling, artificial intelligence, natural language processing and other emerging technologies. These products will be used by consumers and ideal candidates will have experience in B2C environments creating models and driving data that is consumed by customers, not internal users. This is a highly technical role with a tremendous impact across the organization so candidates should have at minimum a Master's degree and 2 years of professional experience delivering complex models directly to customers. Only candidates local to the Raleigh, NC area and authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered at this time.

- MS or other advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2 years of professional data science and machine learning experience
- Ability to write Python code to develop and train models
- Expert level SQL skills and ability to work on complex queries
- Capable of working with both search and graph databases
- Proven experience working on models that are in production and drive data being consumed directly by customers, not internal models
- Experience using NLP and/or LLM's to transform static text data from various data feeds into consumable data providing real time insights to customers
