Software Engineer (Python) - Financial Services

Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20 years. With a HQ in Greenwich, Connecticut, this firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B for various institutional investors. They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their Quant Engineering team working on front-office trading applications.

Job Title: Junior Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central)

Required Technology And Skills

• 2 years of professional software development experience in Python, SQL, and AWS
• Experience collaborating on a team and across internal business units
• Strong expertise with coding, debugging, and development best practices
• Experience with Source / Version control systems like Git
• Eagerness to be mentored and grow your career in the investment management industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
  

Additional Skills

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
• Experience supporting financial/trading applications or interest in the field
  
  

Salary Range: Base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 Bonus (150,000 – 165,000 Total comp)
