We have been asked to identify a Facilities/Chemical Operator for one of our clients and can work both onsite in Dallas TX.
Position Description:
Welcome to a growing team that develops technology solutions that will elevate existing technologies to a new ceiling. As a Facilities Operator, you will perform technical tasks in support of operations and maintenance activities on the facility’s chemical and gas systems supporting our manufacturing tools. In this role, you will be a member of a team with an open, creative and collaborative work environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Monitor and escalate chemical and gas systems
- Perform daily duties, (including but not limited to): completing chemical and gas change-outs, material stocking and deliveries, rounds & readings
- Maintain and operate specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
- Comply with all applicable Safety and Regulatory standards including, but not limited to: PPE, DOT/RCRA
- Commitment to working via a highly standardized set of instructions is required
- Support bulk gas and chemical deliveries, offloads, and transfers
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance
- Execute proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Maintain an understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws
- Forklift & PIT Operations
- Knowledge of modern electronics technology
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience & education.
- 1-3 years in field as a technician
- Willingness to work on a compressed work schedule - 12hr shifts
- Willingness to work night shift (6 pm – 6 am)
- Willingness to handle call-in situations after hours
- Ability to read, understand, and update mechanical, electrical, chemical, and controls system drawings
- Computer/software skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP
