Sr. Payroll Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team at GAT Airline Ground Support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform payroll functions to ensure compliance with applicable policies, contracts, and State and Federal laws while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for 3,400 employees, located in multiple states, including California.
Responsible for accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reconciliations and tax filings.
Perform timely analysis of payroll records, reports and discrepancies in order to resolve problems as expeditiously as possible and to maintain the integrity of payroll, HR, and accounting systems.
Maintain record keeping practices to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
Prepare information required for internal/external audit processes.
Verify and audit timesheets to ensure compliance and accurate records.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, paid leave balances and other payroll processes.
Requirements:
5 years of payroll experience
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) Certification is required
4 year degree is preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll practices and labor law in all states
Proficiency in Payroll Systems, particularly Ceridian Dayforce
Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgets.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel compensation and benefit information and other human resources issues.
Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to present information, respond to questions, relate well to all levels of the workforce
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to consistently and accurately meet mandatory deadlines.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
