May Center is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage a range of HR operations including employee relations, investigations, performance management, benefit administration and leave of absences for 300 employees supporting Residential Programs and Day Rehabilitation Center in Randolph, MA.
Responsibilities:
The Resources Generalist facilitates human resources activities to guide employees through the employment lifecycle.
Responsible for facilitating human resources activities related to onboarding, document/ file management, separation process, HRIS reporting, training, leave management, worker’s compensation and/or benefits and handling employee relations matters as well as overall human resource support. The Human Resources Generalist manages employee relations, performance management, guiding and counseling managers, conflict resolution and employee mediation. The Human Resources Generalist conducts investigations, reports findings and makes recommendations to supervisor and the center / dept. leadership on disciplinary actions and training. Participates in unemployment hearings as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
Good working knowledge of labor and employment laws and practices.
Workplace investigation experience required.
Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
