Drive Growth in Advanced Materials Processing
Lead the expansion of our heat treatment and tolling services by building strategic partnerships with OEM clients. This role requires a deep understanding of advanced materials sales, asset utilization, complex qualification timelines, and long-term contracts within diverse markets. We seek a driven individual with strong business acumen, technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to cultivate relationships that fuel innovation and growth.
Lead Responsibilities :
Reporting to the GM-Ohio Operations, with additional reporting lines to the Director - New Business Development and the CEO as needed, you will :Develop and execute strategic business plans to support Ohio operations.Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.Align customer business strategies with product and development capabilities to maximize sales potential.Articulate the value proposition of our decarbonization solutions to OEM partners, emphasizing features, benefits, and technical specifications.Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and customer objectives.Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders (senior executives, engineering, procurement) at OEM partners.Contribute to sales forecasting, goal setting, and strategic planning processes.Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes.This position is based in Wadsworth, OH, with potential for North American travel as required.Desired Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Materials Science or equivalent experience in industrial sales.5 years of experience in sales and relationship management with large, complex accounts, preferably in the advanced materials industry (resins, fibers, complex qualifications).Experience in Heat Treatment, Aerospace, Energy, Defense, or other complex markets preferred.Strong business acumen and the ability to develop strategic plans aligned with market trends and customer needs. Experience with complex programs involving long lead times for qualifications, sole-source positions, highly differentiated products, and large asset-driven programs is essential.Understanding of new technology development and commercialization processes, ideally with novel heat treatment and tolling services.
