Our team is seeking skilled public transit project managers to identify cost effective systems that meet operational needs and protect the investment of our client for a potential Transporation based project. The project goal is to realize improved operational efficiencies and support our mission to provide and promote public transportation choices. Doing so will require strong technical integration, project management, and leadership skills necessary to successfully spearhead the solution selection process and implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience managing similar projects within the transit or transportation industry, particularly in CAD / AVL, On-demand, or Paratransit Software is preferred.
- Experience working with small, rural transit agencies is preferred.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools and software.
- A strong technical background, including familiarity with GIS, database management, and software integration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are preferred.
- A detailed resume highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
- Examples of past project successes, particularly in CAD / AVL, On-demand, or Paratransit Software implementation.
