About the Role
As the Controller, you will lead the financial operations for a growing organization, ensuring compliance with international standards and optimizing processes for operational success. Working closely with the executive team, you’ll manage multi-site accounting functions, oversee financial reporting, and support strategic initiatives across LATAM and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cost accounting, and inventory management for multi-site operations.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations in LATAM countries.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage financial audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting in the U.S. and LATAM regions.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial planning with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams to monitor cash flow, currency exchange, and financial performance.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the finance team across locations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, ideally in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and multi-currency transactions.
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance in LATAM countries.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
