Our client is seeking a seasoned Subcontracts Administrator to manage cradle-to-grave subcontract administration in support of federal government contracting operations. This position requires expertise in subcontract management, cost analysis, compliance, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal contracting, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the full lifecycle of subcontract administration, including planning, negotiation, and close-out.
- Review subcontract proposals for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness.
- Conduct cost and price analyses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
- Coordinate technical proposal reviews with prime contract program managers.
- Support the preparation of prime contract proposals, including subcontract cost considerations.
- Identify risks and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with subcontractors.
- Issue subcontracts and modifications as needed.
- Track and report on subcontract requirements, deliverables, and performance.
- Monitor subcontract costs, schedules, and overall performance.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop standardized forms, reports, and subcontract documentation.
- Clearance : Minimum Top Secret.
