Position Summary
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with expertise in commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects and ground-up construction. This role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on commercial TI work and ground-up construction.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, techniques, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, First Aid/CPR
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Management: Promote and enforce a safety-first culture by conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Project Oversight: Supervise all construction phases, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely material deliveries and high-quality work.
- Quality Control: Implement measures to ensure construction meets project specifications and building codes.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, reports, and updates.
- Problem Solving: Address construction challenges quickly to avoid delays and maintain project standards.
- Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget adherence.
- Change Management: Evaluate and manage adjustments to project scope, schedule, or costs, coordinating with clients and project managers.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and oversee site personnel to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
