The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a vital link between clinical staff and information technology teams, leveraging technology to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows. The ideal candidate combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare information systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in EHR configuration and optimization.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and interoperability protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- On-Call Support:Availability for occasional on-call duties during system go-lives or emergencies.
- Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities: System Implementation and Optimization:
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify needs and implement clinical information systems.

- Assist in the design, build, and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical applications.
Workflow Analysis and Enhancement:

Training and User Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff to promote effective use of systems.
