Job Description: Senior Production Support Engineer - L1 & L2 (Data)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Support Engineer - L1 & L2 (Data) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services. This role requires a deep understanding of our tech stack and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to restore service and improve system performance.
Skillsets:
- Mandatory skills : Apache Airflow,Snowflake, SQL,Springboot,Python,Shell scripting
- Desired skills: Amazon Redshift, Datastage, Starburst
- Tools Needed: Confluence, JIRA, Service Now,Collibra,Autosys, MYSQL workbench, Apache Iceberg
Roles and Responsibilties
L1 Support Responsibility:
- Monitoring and sanity checks.
- Issue resolution at 1st Level.
- Reference Knowledge articles and sessions to resolve level 1 issues.
- Engage Vendors/ Infrastructure teams/ Business Consumers.
- Responsible for updating tickets with RCA and correct status.
- Business Communication and response.
L2 Support Responsibility:
- Involved in Analysis of new/unknown issues.
- Deployment of work around data/configuration issues.
- Engage and work with L3 team for RCA.
- Update known error articles.
- Problem ticket management for critical and repetitive incidents.
- Assist in preventative maintenance.
- Help to provide enhancements/tuning for environment efficiency and stability.
