Job Title: Credit & Collections Analyst
Hybrid - In Charlotte, NC OR Warrington, PA
Up to $33.08/hour
3 month contract - extension probable, possible conversion

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with a high level of Excel proficiency and experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments. The analyst will act as the primary point of contact for credit, collections, customer service, and cash application functions within an assigned portfolio. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Credit and Collections, the successful candidate will play a vital role in managing customer relationships, ensuring prompt collections, and contributing to departmental cash collection and DSO targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage collection activities for the assigned portfolio, ensuring consistent follow-up and adherence to collection standards.
- Address customer inquiries with a "customer-focused" approach, proactively identifying and resolving payment issues.
- Review customer invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Respond to customer emails and phone inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of billing and collections processes and cycles preferably with Business to Business (B2B) debt collection.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present challenges, actions, and solutions.
- Proven ability to multitask and thrive under pressure, maintaining a professional demeanor in a high-stakes environment.
- Skilled in negotiation and able to convert customer objections into payment commitments.
Education & Qualifications:
- 3 years of collections experience in an accounting environment, preferably with exposure to high-tech industries.
- Experience with multi-functional roles and multi-company accounting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (2010 or later) and advanced-level Excel skills are essential.
