What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Planner position at Talent Groups?
Our client is seeking a Corporate Event Planner to serve as a primary planner for domestic events for 50 to 150 attendees, managing various aspects of these events from start to finish.
Duration :
6-month Contract to Hire. You'd be a W2 employee of Talent Groups during the contract period.
Hybrid : Monday - Wednesday
onsite at
Weston Florida 33326 . Thursday and Fridays are remote.
Required Qualifications : 5 years of experience managing events of varying sizes, complexity, and impactBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceExperience with various software programs such as Microsoft Office, Concur, and CventExpert-level written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management skills, analytical ability, both creative and strategic thinkingComprehensive understanding, knowledge and experience of all phases of the event planning process and the ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts to all phases of the event planning process (including but not limited to contracts and budgeting).
General knowledge of related disciplinesStrong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detailAbility to balance and negotiate event needs and demands??Demonstrated capacity to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIdeal candidate will be a self-starter, highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to be extremely effective and who is comfortable working in teams and independentlyProven success in executing multiple events simultaneously and using both internal and external resourcesExcellent vendor and event management skills are a necessity.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, employees, and vendors
