About the Role
Talent Groups is looking for a highly experienced Senior Budgeting Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Budgeting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Budget team with financial reporting and analysis, including the preparation of detailed budgets/forecasts and financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of annual 990 tax filing requirements with the IRS and Massachusetts.
- Collaborating with Budget Analysts on budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, including meeting with business unit representatives and preparing detailed and summarized notations for forecast to forecast and forecast to actual fluctuations.
- Providing miscellaneous support, including setting up/maintaining Excel, Word and other support files, running and maintaining financial reports, and documenting results of operations and/or changes in plan for management use.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with excellent analytical skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and confidentiality.
A bachelor's degree in Accounting and five years of previous work experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting are required. Experience with organizing and completing corporate taxes, with understanding of IRS Form 990 a plus. We also value proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience with Workiva financial reporting software.
