RN - Outpatient Clinic(Pediatric)

Essential Functions

• Uphold Client's Policies and Procedures, Core Values, and competencies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform comprehensive assessments focusing on various aspects such as physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, and cognitive status.
• Document patient information and responses, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with Client guidelines.
• Establish patient care priorities and coordinate resources effectively.
• Identify and address patient/family learning needs, respecting their rights and cultural beliefs.
• Provide and coordinate care for patients, establishing effective relationships with the healthcare team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
• Implement essential patient care functions, including wound dressing, catheter management, and suture removal.
• Manage clinic medication inventories and replenish supplies as needed, maintaining inventory logs.
• Prepare and administer medications according to Client policies and physician orders.
• Lead efficiently in emergency situations, following protocols and documenting events.
• Oversee the autoclave process and ensure compliance with infection control requirements.
• Coordinate immunization routines and manage emergency vaccine plans.
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement activities regularly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in legal issues, patient confidentiality, and risk management.
• Engage in nursing research activities and provide data for staffing decisions.
• Utilize computers and telecommunication tools effectively for documentation and communication.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

• Practice customer service standards as defined by Client and specified clinic.
• Anticipate and proactively address customer needs, ensuring issues are resolved.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and facilitate resource utilization.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and functional work environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Preferred: Six (6) months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED and a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $47.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
