Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring 5 years of expertise in analyzing, developing, and optimizing business systems. You will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making by designing, implementing, and managing powerful data solutions. This role requires strong technical proficiency, specifically in Power BI, SQL, and ETL processes, to help transform raw data into actionable insights and support business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Oversee and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into centralized data repositories.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all systems.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting, resolving issues efficiently.
• Provide ongoing support for business systems and applications.
• Assist in the documentation of processes, requirements, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with IT teams to manage system upgrades and improvements.
• Deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience with data management tasks (such as data governance, datastewardship, data quality management)
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including report and dashboard development, as well as data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, joining, and optimizing databases.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, including experience with ETL tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
