What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Scheduler position at Talent Ocean?
This position is for a Sr Scheduler position for capital improvement projects at the Port of Seattle.
- Review contractors' baseline and monthly schedule updates; prepare analyses for staff and stakeholders identifying critical paths, near critical paths, milestone impacts, phasing shifts and potential trends.
- Maintain Owner's shadow schedule.
- Schedule analysis and reporting; what-if impacts, resources and cost loading; risk mitigation.
- Time impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities.
Performs oversight of project schedulers to ensure consistency and accuracy across the CIP. Performs complex schedule analysis and assists in identification of risks, interdependencies across projects, and claims management. Develops and implements KPIs. Applies scheduling experience on large and complex projects ($500 million) throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, and construction.
10 years or more of scheduling experience with 5 plus years of reporting (milestones, inter-dependencies, etc.) in direct support of an active construction program covering multiple projects and varying project delivery methods.
Scheduling experience supporting active construction projects, preferably civil flatwork such as roads, runways, or public utilities.
Experience with large-scale, complex construction projects.
Knowledge & experience with project management principles and project control cycles.
These are onsite field positions so you must live locally. THESE ARE NOT REMOTE POSITIONS. No Per Diems or relocation packages for these positions.

Pay: $105.00 - $110.00 per hour
