Imaging Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Imaging Supervisor to lead and support our radiology team while maintaining the ability to work clinically as needed. This dual-role position emphasizes leadership, staff supervision, and operational management while enabling hands-on work in various imaging modalities. As the Imaging Supervisor, you will ensure smooth departmental operations, support staff in a unionized environment, oversee quality control, and maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily radiology operations, including shift workload management, task delegation, staff scheduling, and supply inventory.
• Provide leadership and guidance, acting as a liaison between staff and the Radiology Director.
• Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS.
• Collaborate with the Radiology Director to address departmental needs and communicate updates.
• Maintain and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Facilitate staffing adjustments and provide clinical coverage during vacations or staff absences.

Qualifications:

• Certificate and/or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Active ARRT(R) certification, with additional certification in either CT or Mammography.
• Eligibility for radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Vermont.
• Minimum of 5 years of radiology experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems is preferred.
