Job Summary :
We are seeking an Imaging Supervisor to oversee radiology operations at Porter Medical Center . This role includes supervising a team in a newly unionized environment while also working clinically as needed . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills , expertise in CT or mammography , and experience managing workflow, quality control, and departmental operations .
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily radiology department operations , ensuring efficiency and quality care.
- Perform clinical imaging duties as needed (General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS).
- Manage staff scheduling, workload delegation, and performance evaluations .
- Act as a liaison between radiology staff and hospital leadership .
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of departmental supplies .
- Ensure compliance with quality control and safety protocols .
- Support staff development, training, and mentorship .
- Collaborate with the Radiology Director on strategic planning .
Required Qualifications :
Certificate or Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT(R) Certification , plus additional certification in CT or Mammography .
Eligibility for Radiologic Technologist Licensure in Vermont .
5 years of radiology experience .
1 year of supervisory experience .
Preferred Qualifications :
Supervisory experience in a unionized setting .
ARRT Certification in CT, Mammography, and Radiography .
Experience with Epic EMR .
Familiarity with Visage PACS system .
