We are seeking an experienced Imaging Manager to oversee our medical imaging department. Duties
- Manage daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
- Supervise and train imaging staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Oversee the scheduling of imaging procedures.
- Ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care through effective imaging practices.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and ensure proper documentation for billing and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance departmental practices.
Qualifications
- Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT(R) certification required, plus additional certification in either CT or mammography.
- Eligibility for radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Vermont.
- Five years of radiology experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical practice and administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
