What are the responsibilities and job description for the AML/SAR Analyst position at Talent Shift?
We are looking for an experienced AML/SAR Analyst for our global investment bank and financial services client on a project basis. This contract position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Conduct SAR review/analysis by reviewing pre-populated data and narratives, identifying errors, and resolving discrepancies
- Analyze cardholder accounts, run additional searches in the Citi KYC and screening systems, review the transaction data file, and include all relevant customer information
- File accurate and complete SARs in system while adhering to quality standards and regulatory compliance guidelines
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher from an Accredited University/College
- Minimum 1 years of experience conducting SAR investigations focused on credit card fraud and abuse
- Hands on analytic and investigative experience using KYC platforms and bank screening systems
- Strong experience writing clear and logical SAR narratives tailored to credit card schemes
- Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or similar preferred
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
