Are you an experienced Information Technology Support Analyst with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Analyst to work at their company in Cincinnati, OH.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Evaluates service requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes. Identifies and resolves simple to medium complexity incidents and production problems. Understands and completes simple to medium complexity service requests such as job abends, break-fixes, data record errors etc.
- Performs root cause analysis for simple to medium complexity issues.
- Trains junior support analysts to help their growth within the team. Contributes to update and enrich the knowledge error database (KEDB). Investigates and identifies problems and user requirements.
- Monitors and analyzes supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions.
- Responsible for configuring, programming and testing the minor application enhancements to improve application features or performance. Can be also responsible for application monitoring activities and on-call support for ensuring business continuity. Diagnoses and resolves issues in medium to complex programs (such as ABAP), perform minor enhancements and select appropriate user-exits.
Qualifications:
- Detailed Knowledge of Apparel Magic Desktop 12
- Experienced in FileMaker Pro
- Versed in FileMaker Pro script language
- Must be proficient in SQL and creates SQL queries for mass upload. Can write medium to high complexity SQL queriesCoordinates with process teams on functional specifications for minor enhancements. Might have worked as a contributing member of team in at least 1 or 2 mid to large-sized support projectsIs knowledgeable of and complies with customer internal ITIL processes and policies in day-to-day activities.
- Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts.
- Bachelors B.E./ B.Tech / BCA; Masters M.Tech / MCA; Computer Science specialization highly desirable
Preferred:
- Understanding of the Apparel Industry and Order Management Processing
- Certifications preferred:ITIL Foundation
