We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This is an onsite role within a growing consumer electronics manufacturing company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure smooth business operations. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inventory records.
- Assist in cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Assist in sales tax filings, property tax reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Work with the operations team to track and analyze costs, expenses, and variances.
- Support external audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within accounting functions.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
