Work Location: Hybrid - work location Client HQ Newark Office with a minimum of two days a week in the office. Candidates must have recruitment experience in construction or with a union workforce and sourcing or external partner relationship experience with organizations.

- Candidates must live in NJ due to required travel to events within NJ and must be able to commute to Client locations and events.
- 10-20% travel in Northern NJ - Middlesex County, Union County, Trenton, etc.
- Reimbursement for mileage and tolls.
- Schedule may vary depending on the time of year, engagements, and events.
- 12-month assignment, may be extended depending on projects.
- Must have experience sourcing for construction roles.
- Strong recruiting background with 8 years of targeted sourcing experience.
- Experience building partnerships with community and diversity organizations.
- Use sourcing skills and expertise to help deepen and establish relationships.
- Coordinate and participate with outreach and sourcing events (both live and virtual).
- Work closely with DEI peers.
- Ability to influence and inspire others.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Prior experience working for an organization that are federal contractors is a plus.
- SHRM certification a plus.
- ATS (Applicant Tracking System) knowledge & experience working in MS Excel.
- Success Factors and SAP experience is a plus.
- Serve as a diversity talent sourcer for a large utility employer, focusing on outreach and recruitment of diverse groups.
- Report to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, and develop and support appropriate sourcing strategies and workforce development initiatives based on the organization's open positions and long-term workforce needs.
- Create strategic partner relationships with diverse organizations that serve diversity focus areas to attract, hire, and retain talent.
- Collaborate with recruitment staff and leadership to implement best practices for sourcing strategies, maintaining an innovative approach using all available tools and resources.
- Track outreach to diverse community partners to measure which relationships are the most effective, and track and record referrals and communications with each organization to facilitate reporting.
- Coordinate and participate in outreach events/initiatives (live & virtual) with 10-20% travel.
- Deliver results with little supervision and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Support other strategic sourcing team initiatives as needed (e.g., summer internship program).
- 12-18-month assignment.
- 40 hours per week.

- Skilled TA professional with 8 years of targeted sourcing experience with a large employer.
- Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships with diverse organizations and education systems.
- Demonstrated examples working with workforce development boards and vocational/technical schools.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
- Applicant tracking systems background; a plus if experience with Success Factors, emPower, SAP & SharePoint, Power BI.
