Job Title: 2nd Shift Administrator
Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Location: Grandville, MI
Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Administrator to support our shipping and receiving operations. This role involves clerical tasks such as managing phone calls and emails, processing paperwork, coordinating truck placement, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with software applications like SYNAPSE, MAVES, SAP, AX, Word, and Excel, and be able to troubleshoot customer-related issues quickly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and manage emails
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and verify delivery details
- Process and track orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and receipts
- Handle customer inquiries and provide proactive updates on issues
- Assist with trailer offloads, sealing trailers, and data entry
- Support forklift operators and assist with inventory management
- Maintain accurate records and prepare for audits
- General office organization and adherence to safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1-3 months of related experience or training in logistics and customer service
- Proficient with software like Maves, SAP, Yardview, Excel, and Word
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate professionally
