2nd shift: Forklift Operator/ Shipping Clerk $19.50
Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10pm some Saturdays may be required
Core Responsibilities:
Safely maneuver forklifts to transport materials, pallets, and other items within a warehouse or industrial site.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with goods, ensuring proper stacking and securing loads.
Move, stack, and store materials in designated areas, following inventory control procedures.
Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
Inspect forklifts for safety issues, report any problems, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of materials moved, loads, and other relevant information.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Additional Duties:
- Creating Orders/Picking Orders: Select and prepare items for shipment, using pick sheets or other instructions.
- Wrapping and Packaging: Shrink wrap/banding coils or otherwise secure items for transport.
- Weighing and Recording: Weigh products and loads, and record weights as needed.
- Equipment Checks: Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts and other equipment.
- Communication: Communicate with supervisors, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to inventory, shipments, and other tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Report any product damage or shortages immediately (STOP CALL WAIT).
