JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Contract Recruiter to join our team and support recruitment efforts for entry to mid-level roles, along with supporting overflow office roles as needed. This position will primarily support the Crown Point, IN facility, once the hiring initiative begins. The recruiter will also work closely with hiring managers to identify top talent and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process. This is a temporary contract role requiring flexibility based on hiring needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Full cycle recruiting for Operations, Production, and overflow office roles.
· Review applications/resumes and conduct phone prescreens to assess candidate qualifications and job fit.
· Schedule interviews and ensure clear, timely communication with both candidates and hiring managers.
· Maintain accurate and organized records of recruitment activities and candidate information within the ATS.
· Provide hiring managers with consistent updates, prescreen summaries, and recruitment progress.
· Facilitate offer negotiations and oversee the recruitment process, including extending offers and handling hiring documentation.
· Proactively source candidates as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support TA department initiatives.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably for light industrial, production, or high-volume positions.
- Experience working with and Applicant Tracking System.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
- Results oriented, team player with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions, meet recruitment goals, and manage timelines effectively.
- Ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment process independently, while working in a fast-paced environment.
· Working knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment-related labor laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Hybrid role, with onsite presence increasing as the hiring initiative progresses.
