Project Manager - Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
As the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and fulfillment of commercial and technical aspects of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from sales to delivery, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and exceeding customer expectations.
- Handling 20 to 30 projects at a time

- Execute all technical and commercial aspects of assigned projects from the point of sale.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, manufacturer's representatives, and end-user customers, addressing all technical and commercial inquiries.
- Regularly communicate with customers to provide project status updates and ensure their satisfaction at every stage.
- Facilitate efficient communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Allocate resources as needed to meet project requirements effectively.
- Thoroughly study and interpret contract documents and specifications to understand project scope.
- Participate in and facilitate project kick-off meetings.
- Lead project meetings both internally and with clients.
- Manage project budgets and projections.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, critical paths, and key dates.
- Document and track all project-related issues internally and externally.
- Provide guidance and direction to Engineering, Purchasing, Fabrication, and Service teams to meet project requirements and customer expectations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Oversee project purchases in coordination with Engineering & Purchasing.
- Regularly liaise with vendors/suppliers to ensure schedule and quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to quality requirements, including NDE, weld procedures, and specifications.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
- Participate in company production meetings.
- Support Sales with contract and terms negotiations.
- Provide project budget reports and projections to company management and accounting.
- Handle change orders when required.
- Construction management experience is a plus.
- Assist with warranty claims and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate Service personnel scheduling to meet project and customer needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental, etc.) or related field, preferred but not required.
- 5 years of experience managing projects or engineering in engineered products, construction, fabrication, or a related field.
- Self-motivated with proactive communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in communication, both verbal and written.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience interpreting AutoCAD and/or Solidworks/3-D drawings.
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, prints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques, including welding, coatings, assembly/erection, and shipping.
- Knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
- Engineering expertise in air handling systems and/or water treatment technologies, including knowledge of industrial processes generating water and air pollution, pump systems, air pollutants, fan curves, and hydraulic principles.
- Experience visiting various industrial facilities such as refineries, chemical/petrochemical plants, automotive/aerospace/machining industries, food & beverage plants, mining operations, municipal/government facilities, energy utilities, steel and metals industry, and others.
- PMP or related project management certification is a plus.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
