Job Title : Studio and Live Engineer In Charge

Location : Stamford, CT

Hours : Noon-1 AM Saturdays and Sundays, Fridays and Mondays 4pm-Midnight

Duration : 1 year contract plus extensions up to 3 years

Interview Process : 1 F2F interview in Stamford

Why is it open? This client is renting out studios during the weekend to a separate company. This new network will be using the studios Saturday / Sunday and they need studio and live engineering coverage during those hours.

Position Overview : Our client is seeking a talented and highly skilled Studio and Live Engineer In Charge to join our team. This individual will provide mission-critical technical support for live studio productions.

Must Haves :

• 10 years of experience supporting the Engineering Department
• Robust knowledge and understanding of Live HD studio productions
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including Weekends and Nights.
• Proficient at communicating problems and solutions to technical and non-technical personnel alike and will help develop new processes, technologies, and techniques that will help improve the facility's running.
• Experience and understanding of Evertz Vista link and Ross Dashboard.
• Experience with broadcast / production equipment, including tape machines, displays, routers, rasterizers, and other peripherals.
• Must have strong technical skills and be self-motivated / resourceful to grow core competency continually.
• Must have excellent documentation and communication skills to facilitate effective results with staff and technology providers.
• Experience creating Autocad system drawings.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• 2110 Routing Systems Experience
